Village of Columbus Celebrates Earth Day: April 22, 2022

Help the Village of Columbus celebrate Earth Day 9 am – 1 pm Friday, April 22nd. Come to downtown Columbus Plaza, Broadway and Highway 11, for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce sponsored annual event.

• 9:30 am – Papercrete video on alternative building methods will be shown. Meet Mike McCain, who helped pioneer papercrete in this area.

• 11:00 am – Drum Circle – Drumming is very healthy, fun, relaxing, and spiritual! Bring a hand drum. No experience necessary. Will train.

• E-bike convention – bring your e-bike and join the parade; make new friends. Learn about e-bikes.

• Music by July McClure and Friends. There’s room for more performers, dancers, speakers, yodelers, hand drummers, mimes, clowns, alligator wrestlers, and sword swallowers.

• Plant giveaway and sale

• Recycle/Reuse: Sell or give away your unwanted stuff. Free vendor spaces.
