The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an event on Thursday, Sept. 7 to introduce all local candidates who will be on the ballot for the Nov. 7, 2023 election.
The “Meet the Candidate” forum will be held 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Tumbleweed Dinner Theater on Broadway Ave. in the Village of Columbus.
Candidates for the November election include:
Mayor: Esequiel Salas (incumbent); Philip Skinner; Nicole Steffen
Board of Trustees: Isabel Gomez; Jerad Loesch; Wilson Edward Moore; Juan Padilla; Rocio Sierra; William Johnson
Municipal Judge: Rachel Gomez; Raymond William Perron Jr
Also on the Nov. ballot, will be local Columbus resident Dan Martin, running for the Deming Soil and Water Conservation Board. Refreshments will be served at this Thursday’s meeting and Tumbleweed will open its doors at 5 p.m.
