Monthly Online Event Invites Authors to Discuss Their Work

Exterior of Columbus, New Mexico Library

Since the end of January the Columbus library has been hosting a monthly (mostly!) Zoom/Facebook Live author Q&A. The first book, Lincoln Moon, was by first time author Michael Price Nelson and was a historical fiction account of one of Lincoln’s most famous cases during his lawyer years.

The second event, at the beginning of March, hosted soap maker, textile crafter and jewelry maker Alicia Grosso discussing her books, Magickal Soapmaking and Everything Soapmaking.

April’s Author Q&A will be with publisher Darren Davis, founder of Tidalwave Comics. Tidalwave has wide ranging titles, from Blackbeard (fantasy) and Rock & Rock (eras and artists) to the Jill Biden coloring book and the Rush Limbaugh memorial comic book.

All books discussed are available for checkout after the discussions. Follow the Facebook group to get up-to-date information about up-and-coming events.

Do you know an author you would like featured in the Author Q&A? Is there a topic you’d like to know more about? Let us know at the library or send us a note!
