Expanded Food Distribution Set for Saturday, October 19

Anticipates Serving up to 400 Families

Albuquerque, NM (October 15, 2024) – Community members who need help with food are invited to a FREE pop-up produce distribution on Saturday, October 19 starting at 8 am. The location of the expanded drive-through distribution will be held at the Starmax Theatre at 333 N. County Club Rd in Deming. The primary food being provided is a variety of produce and is being hosted by Colores United and Roadrunner Food Bank.

Community members seeking to receive food assistance do not need to register in advance and should plan on clearing trunks, truck beds, or back seats. In addition, those seeking help should watch for directional signs and volunteers providing instructions on where to go.

Roadrunner® Food Bank, a Feeding America member, is the largest non-profit dedicated to providing access to food and meals in New Mexico.
