This is a second opportunity for anyone who missed the sign-ups last week. A representative from the program will be at the Columbus Village Library on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 11:00 to 2:00. This is a free federal program for qualifying individuals. Eligible recipients receive a free android smart phone with a data plan that includes unlimited calling, texting, and internet data. Individuals receiving Medicaid or SNAP benefits qualify automatically and will need to show ID and possibly their Social Security card for approval, so it is advisable to bring both. If qualifying through income, bring annual letter from Social Security office or other proof of income such as pay stub, W-2, Disability statement, etc.
