It is with a mournful heart that this message is sent to everyone concerned. Cindy Varnhagen our Municipal Clerk for the Village of Columbus passed from this life to a life Eternal on June 29, 2020.
Cindy gave her heart to her work and dedicated her time in striving to bring the best to the Community of Columbus, NM by demanding the best from herself and raising the level of professionalism as Municipal Clerk for the Village of Columbus.
Cindy Varnhagen’s level of organization and professionalism has kept the Village of Columbus at the top and in front with the any demand of Municipal performance from the State or Federal Government and all organizations and persons the Village has dealings with.
On behalf of the Village of Columbus I Mayor Esequiel Salas offer our heart felt condolences to Jake Varnhagen Cindy’s husband and their family. She is sorely missed.
